His Grace is Enough

Grace's first 8 day's in the NICU have been rough as she transitions to life outside the womb. Something that ran through my mind a lot at the beginning was that it wasn't supposed to be this way. I felt that I would have written the story way differently, and that if it were up to me Grace would have stayed safe and snug inside of me. However, God had a different plan, and I am learning to trust that his story will be far more powerful, trying, inspiring, humbling, and beautiful then I could have ever imagined.

Sam and I truely believe that the Lord has great things in store for Grace and us, and that through this journey we will be forced to grow in ways we could never imagine. We also trust that Graces life will be an amazing testimony to what God can do. He is the way maker, miracle worker, God of the impossible!

We feel so blessed that God chose us to be her parents! We continue to wait patiently on Him as he does a mighty work in Grace's life. He's not finished yet!
