Surgery #3 Update

Praise be to God, Grace's surgery was a success! She came out of surgery early this afternoon, and will remain intubated and sedated for the next 72 hours as she heals.

Grace went in to the Operating Room around 11am, after a Pre-Op huddle at her bedside and a walk down to floor 2 by the transport team. The surgery took just over two hours and her surgeon, Dr. Chou, gave us the report shortly after that everything went well with no major complications.

Thank you Lord for answered prayers 🙏🏼

Prayer Requests:

  • That Grace heals quickly and doesn't feel to much pain.

  • That God protects her from infection

  • Comfort for Grace as she remains sedated but aware (and hates the intubation).

  • Peace for us as her parents (it's hard seeing her reintubated and sedated and all wired up again).

His plan is perfect and His unfailing promises truly are unfailing; they simply cannot fail because He himself has said that they are unfailing.
